Has anyone bought this battery "Sony PSP 3.6v 2200mAh"? PSP's come with 3.6v 1800mAh an i read that the 2200's are extended. I'm wandering how much more battery life do you get an is this larger in physical size comparison to the 1800? if its like the datel battery which sticks out i woulden't want it.

The Sony extended battery fits like the regular one, and it lasts much longer than the original PSP battery. I just checked mine and at 92% charge it reports 9 hours and 44 minutes battery time left. Well worth the money in my opinion. I had the battery brick you mentioned and while the long life was great, it stuck out too much and got in the way.

With the 2200 (and all batteries, I suppose) make sure that you actually let it run all the way down before recharging. It is easy, because the battery life is much longer (between 9 and 10 hours) to just throw it back on charge before it really needs it. This can cause the battery to develop a "memory" and it will, over time, begin to spend its charge faster. Anyways, just a warning. It is a great battery to have, just take care of it!
