|
|
| There is now available for purchase a fan that attaches to the top of the PSP. It isn't designed to cool the PSP but rather to dry the sweaty fingers of those who are playing. This should be a big hit in places like the Sahara desert where sweaty fingers are consistently disrupting the gameplay of many desert nomads. Actually, I think it sounds pretty good. I am going to get one and let you know how it turns out. |

| Are you seriously going to get one? Sweaty fingers have never been a problem for me. Finger CRAMPS, sure, but not sweaty fingers, LOL. |

Has anyone tried this yet? I wonder if having a fan blowing on your hand is annoying or not... It seems like a good idea though, yet I wonder if it's actually worthwhile |

| Does it run on a separate battery? I really don't want a fan sucking the life out of my battery. |

LMOA, you two. I set myself up on that one I guess. I should have consulted a thesaurus for a better word than suck...lol I guess it actually comes with it's own battery, so it won't suck the PSP dry...lol Anyway I read somewhere that this will actually increase the life of the PSP, is there any truth to that? I think they were saying that because it mounts behind the screen and blows toward the screen and d pad. I have not played the PSP for hours on end, but I have not noticed the screen getting hot. I have played for up to an 1hr at a time, maybe I need to play more |

| That's pretty pointless. Like a previous poster said, just wipe them on something if you need to. How much is this fan? |

Some of these items, are just fancy novelty items...like 90% of computer equipment that you can get. Sure they're rather pointless, but it's always nice to have them nonetheless. |

Agreed - the only way they could make this fan accessory interesting would be to make it light up, like light-up USB cables. Do you actually need a light-up USB cable? No, but once you see them, you want to have them! |

Well, if you're a fan of useless but fancy stuff, I would suggest looking at ThinkGeek.com, this is probably the gold mine of useless neat and cool stuff |

thinkgeek is a GREAT site! I don't think I'm geeky enough to actually buy anything from there but it doesn't stop me wishing I could |
