There are not many movies available for the PSP. There are more coming out but they aren't cheaper or at least the same price as a DVD. They also usually don't come with the special features that a DVD comes with. It seems like it the movie companies want our business they will have to start making the movies cost less and giving us more for our money. It seems ridiculous to me to pay twice as much for a DVD and not get as much for it. Especially with the growing popularity of portable DVD players. I hope that Sony and Lion's Gate and anyone else who is going to start releasing movies for the PSP will take that into consideration.

since converting DVDs to MP4 for the PSP is growing more popular everday there will be no more UMDs for movies soon.

I agree, which is why I am getting all my favorite movies on UMD since they will probably be collector's items some day.
