Registered users can toggle the big banner logo up top, after you register just click on the "Toggle Banner" link in the top control panel. The toggle lasts for one week, at which point you can hide it by clicking the button again.

Some new users said the registration process was too hard with our big beautiful banner, so now guest can toggle it on and off too.

It's fairly useful. I'm kinda neutral. While it is a large banner, it's what I'm used to seeing when coming to the site. The comfort of familiarity, I suppose.

I like the banner but I mostly keep it off though for quicker navigation.

I personaly like the banner, I toggled it just a few seconds ago and felt cold and empty till I put it back up. It adds a lot of warmth to the forums. Personality.

Also I don't think it bothered me during signup.

I think I'll just go ahaid and marry it. Wink

Oh by the way, have any of you considered making a custom skin for the forums? something garden themed? Idea

Thanks, I know it makes our designer happy. He's quite proud of the banner (as he should be) and said he's delighted to give you its hand in marriage. Very Happy

A garden-themed template would be cool - the original idea for PSP Garden was actually a zen garden with sand, rocks, & stones. You know any good phpBB template designers? We're happy with the current template of course, but I'm personally always planning for the "next thing."

Sadly no. I used to work on skinning a different providers forums. If they work anything like each other I may be able to pitch in tho. Confused

I like having the option. Being able to turn it on or off is a really good feature.

Like the option of toggling, but like others, a giant navigation button isn't bad either, I kept it on.
